Industry-recognised diagnostic code reader that is suitable for all kinds of users, including roadside mechanics, garage mechanics and home mechanics.
The reader provides both generic and manufacturer specific Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) along with a brief explanation of generic codes through the large screen LCD back-lit display.
No batteries are required to operate the diagnostic tool. Just connect it to the OBD II connection point to power it up. The tool is compatible with petrol vehicles from 1996 onwards and diesel vehicles 2004 onwards. Please ensure the vehicle is OBD II compatible.
The reader can also determine the malfunction indicator lamp status, review emission readiness status, retrieve VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on 2002 and newer vehicles that support Mode 9 and more.

Not compatible with motorcycles and hybrid & electric vehicles.
Please note, for your vehicle to be OBD II compliant, it must have a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) and the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label must state that the vehicle is OBD II compliant. Please check before purchase.
